URGENT – Bagging Team Members Needed

Baggers are volunteers who proportion dry dog or cat food into plastic baggies.

Flexible time. You may come to bag at our facility at your convenience. There are no minimum or maximum hours required from volunteers to provide this service. Groups and couples can come work together. There is plenty of room. We only ask that you are committed to helping every month.

The bagging process starts by measuring 12 cups of dry cat or dog food from a big can filled with food into a Ziploc bag. You would then seal the Ziploc and that is it! We have over 3,000 pounds of food that needs to be bagged every month in order to be distributed to our clients. Food needs to be bagged every month between the 7th and the 25th so the time frame is very flexible.

A tour of our facility and a short training will be provided.

Petco Round Up – Now through July 31

Petco Cedar Rapids is holding it’s annual Round Up for Cedar Rapids AniMeals from June 27th-July 31st. Petco will ask all customers if they would like to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Amount rounded up will go to AniMeals. AniMeals volunteers will be at the store at various times to answers questions anyone may have about our program. Please stop in to Petco during this time, make a purchase and Round Up for AniMeals. Our clients and their pets thank you for your support!
